Brownsville Lions Club

The Lions’ Mission Statement reads “To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs”.   Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That's because they help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy.

There are boxes for donation of old eye glasses and hearing aids to be recycled at the Post Office.  Brownsville Lions members are a tremendous asset to our community.  Programs they sponsor locally include the annual Halloween party, visit with Santa, the Brownsville Holiday Lighting, patriotic flags on Main St, and loan of medical supplies.  In addition they provide monetary support to local groups, and scholarships to graduating seniors.  Watch for their fundraisers (Birthday Calendar, Steak-fry, and Summer Raffle).

The Brownsville Lions meet the 2nd Monday of the month at Jake's Village Bowl, 616 Main St. starting at 6:00 p.m., dinner usually at 6:15 p.m.  Consider becoming a member! For information contact Dr. John Pesch at 920-583-3454
